This Privacy Policy (hereinafter “Policy”) describes the manner in which Myra Solutions LLC, the company that owns and operates the BestKids “BedTime Stories” service (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, processes, stores, transfers, discloses, and otherwise handles information obtained from or about users (“you” or “your”) of the Platform — the website accessible at bestkids.app and bestkidsapp.com AND the BestKids mobile applications for iOS and Android (“the Apps”). One policy covers both; the “Mobile Applications” section below describes the practices specific to the Apps.

We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including authentication providers, analytics services, and other third-party platforms with which you have authorized information sharing. Such information is processed in accordance with this Policy and the applicable terms of the respective third-party service.
The Platform utilizes cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze usage patterns, and facilitate certain functionalities. By continuing to use the Platform after being presented with our cookie notice, you consent to the placement and use of cookies on your device in accordance with this Policy. The categories of cookies we may employ include:
You may manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings or through the cookie preference mechanism provided on the Platform. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality and performance of the Platform, and certain features may become unavailable or operate in a degraded manner.
Mobile App Privacy: Our mobile application is designed for children and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or device information with third parties. The mobile app only uses essential cookies necessary for authentication and core app functionality.
The BestKids Apps are designed for families with children, and we keep their data practices deliberately minimal:
We may use the information collected from you for various purposes, including but not limited to: (a) providing, operating, and maintaining the Platform and its features; (b) processing and managing your account registration; (c) personalizing your experience and delivering content tailored to your preferences and interests; (d) communicating with you regarding your account, service updates, and administrative matters; (e) analyzing usage trends and patterns to improve the Platform's functionality, performance, and user experience; (f) detecting, preventing, and addressing technical issues, security vulnerabilities, and fraudulent activities; (g) complying with applicable legal obligations, regulatory requirements, and law enforcement requests; (h) enforcing our Terms and Conditions and other applicable policies; and (i) any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your subsequent consent.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. However, we may share or disclose your information in the following circumstances: (a) with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, data analytics, authentication, and customer support, subject to contractual obligations of confidentiality; (b) in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights; (c) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Myra Solutions LLC, our users, or the public; (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of such transaction; and (e) with your explicit consent or at your direction.
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Your information may be stored on servers located in various jurisdictions, and by using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in such jurisdictions, which may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country of residence.
We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The specific retention period may vary depending on the context and nature of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, and applicable legal requirements. When personal information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify such information, subject to any legal obligations that may require continued retention.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. The Platform is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction) without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the applicable minimum age without appropriate parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly. Parents and guardians who believe that their child has provided personal information to us without their consent should contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
The optional Family Voices feature lets a parent or guardian record their own voice so that bedtime stories can be narrated in that voice for the children on their account. Because a voice recording is sensitive personal data, this feature works only with your explicit consent, given via a consent checkbox and a spoken consent statement included in the guided recording script.
What we store: your original recording, a noise-cleaned copy of it, and the exact text you read. These are retained while your voice remains on your account so the voice can be improved or re-trained in the future. How it is used: your recording is used solely to create a private voice model with our text-to-speech processors (Fish Audio, and ElevenLabs as an operational backup), which narrates stories that are private to your account. Your voice is never made available to other users, never used for advertising, and never used to narrate content outside your account. Review: every story created with a family voice is reviewed by our team before it is made available to your children. Deletion:you can delete a voice at any time from the Family Voices page, which removes the stored recordings, the read text, and the voice model at our processors. Deleting your account removes them as well. Only adults may record: the feature sits behind the grown-ups gate, and recordings must be of the account holder's own voice.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to: (a) access and obtain a copy of your personal information; (b) request correction or rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information; (c) request deletion or erasure of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions; (d) object to or restrict certain processing activities; (e) data portability, where technically feasible; and (f) withdraw consent previously provided, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the communication channels provided on the Platform. We may require verification of your identity before processing such requests and reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests as permitted by applicable law.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not operated or controlled by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services. We recommend that you review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the Platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, data collection methods, or content of third-party websites or services.
Your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from, and potentially less protective than, the laws of your country. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to such countries. Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which it is processed.
We reserve the right to update, revise, or modify this Privacy Policy at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the updated Policy on the Platform, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about our data practices. Material changes may be communicated through a prominent notice on the Platform or through other appropriate notification mechanisms.
You may permanently delete your BestKids account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. Detailed step-by-step instructions — including what data is deleted, what (if anything) is retained for legal or safety reasons, and how to request deletion if you cannot access your account — are available on our Account Deletion page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible once confirmed via email.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us through the communication channels made available on the Platform. We shall endeavor to address all legitimate inquiries in a timely and comprehensive manner.
